Tyler Jacob Jones was born on April 23, 1993, son of Wendell and Carla Jones ... has a brother, Terrance.

High School Highlights:
Earned four varsity letters at Rising Sun High School, where he played for Kevin Wirsch ... four-time All-Conference selection, named All-Sectional three times and team MVP twice ... had a 0.56 ERA his sophomore season with a 144 strike outs and batted 4.80 his senior season with 29 RBI and four home runs.
