Personal:
Samuel Joseph Hauer is the son of Jow and Annette Hauer...has two sister, Maggie and Anna.

High School Highlights:
Sam earned 3 varsity letters at Elder High School, where he played for Mark Thompson...his junior year he was 1st Team All-GCL...his senior year he was Team Captain and 1st Team All-GCL. 

Freshman Highlights:
(2016)  Named honorable mention All-PAC... Played in 30 games including 29 starts... hit .336 with 6 doubles, 2 home runs, 26 RBI and 14 runs scored.... had a .982 fielding percentage and a .449 slugging percentage.   

Sophomore Highlights:
(2017) Named honorable mention All-PAC ... Played and started in 31 games for the Saints ... had a .301 batting average with one home run, 7 doubles, and 17 RBI.

Junior Highlights:
(2018) Played in 43 games this season for the Saints...Recorded 171 at-bats, scoring 31 times, with 65 hits for 14 doubles and six home runs...Caught 13 players stealing and recorded zero errors...Finished with a .380 batting average and 45 RBI's.
