Junior Highlights (2026): Started all 43 games that he appeared in. Had a .364 batting average with a team-high 55 hits including 11 doubles, 2 triples, and 5 home runs. With 9 walks and 5 hit by pitch, his on base percentage was .416. He had the best slugging percentage on the team with a .563. He had the best OPS on the team with a .979. Recorded a total of 33 RBIs and 22 runs while also recording 10 sacrifice hits with 5 stolen bases. As an outfielder, he had 103 put outs and 2 assists. Made two appearances on the mound for 2.0 total innings allowing 1 hit and had 1 strikeout in the 7 batters he faced.

Sophomore Highlights (2025): Appeared in 33 games and made 27 starts for the Saints. Recorded a batting average of .269 on the season in 93 at-bats. Tallied 25 hits, 14 runs scored, 5 doubles, a home run, 10 RBIs and 8 walks on the season.

First Year Highlights (2024): Appeared in 25 games, starting in 13 this season for the Saints. Tallied a .264 Batting Average through 53 At Bats. Recorded 14 Hits, 1 Double, 6 Runs, 10 RBIs, 2 Walks, and 1 Stolen Base. Defensively, he tallied 24 Put Outs and 3 Assists while maintaining a fielding percentage of 1.000%. Recorded a season high 3 Hits in the 8-5 victory over Cedarville on April 16th. 

High School Highlights: Resing attended St. Henry where he was coached by Greg Pass. During his career he earned District All-Tournament Team honors.

Personal: Matt Resing is the son of Lisa and Joe Resing. He has one sibling, Michael. His cousin Jonathan Litzler attended Thomas More.
