Josh Cain was born on June 30, 1995, Son of James and Traci Cain..has two siblings Jake and Hunter Cain ... transfer from Indiana University Souteast.

High School Highlights:
Three year letter winning at Newport Central Catholic High school where he was coached by Jeff Scholkens... His Junior season he was on the State All- Star game and NKY All-Star game..Senior year he was on the State All- Star game, NKY All- Star game and was named Player of the Year.

Sophomore Highlights:
(2015) Had a 6.38 ERA in 12 appearances ... pitched in 18.1 innings and had eight strike outs.

Junior Highlights:
(2016)  Had 16 appearances with a 7.41 ERA ... pitched in 17 innings and had 10 strikeouts.  

Senior Highlights:

(2017) Had 13 appearances with a 3.57 ERA ... pitched in 22.2 innings and had 19 strikeouts.
