Personal:
Cody Steven Makin was born on October 16, 1991. He is the son of Steve and Vickie Makin, and has an older sibling, Alyx.

High School Highlights:
Cody earned two varsity letters from Elder High School, where he played for Mark Thompson. Cody was named Second Team GCL and Honorable Mention All City his junior year and Honorable Mention GCL and was a team captain his senior year. His senior year his team was State Runner-Up OHSAA Division One.

Freshman Highlights:
(2011) Played in 14 games, including one start ... batted .200 with two doubles and five RBI ... had 29 put outs and two assists.

Sophomore Highlights:
(2012) Named Honorable Mention All-Pac ... played in 40 games and started in 37 of those for the Saints ... batted .368 with eight doubles, one triple, one homerun and 21 RBI ...was 2-for-3 in stolen base attempts ... had 65 put outs and six assists.

Junior Highlights:
(2013) Named First team ALL-Pac and Third team ABCA All-Region..played and started 47 games for the Saints..batted .335 with 6 home runs and 52 RBI..was 2 for 2 on stolen base attempts and had 95 put outs with 2 assists
