Austin Koch was born on October 18, 1995 son of Jim and Deena Koch..he has an older brother Justin and an older sister Kristin

High School Highlights:
Koch was a letter winner at Elder High School where he was coached by Mark Thompson...he earned All-GCL Second Team his senior season.

Freshman Highlights:
(2015) Had a 4.85 ERA and 3-3 record in nine appearances, including six starts ... had 12 strike outs in 29.2 innings pitched.

Sophomore Highlights:
(2016)  Had a 8.44 ERA in 3 appearances, all starts.... had 7 strikeouts in 10.2 innings pitched.... also had a .667 fielding percentage.
