Tara Marie Melzer was born on August 12, 1995 ... daughter of Kelly and Jim Christman ... has two siblings, Ally and Tyler.

Tara earned three varsity letters at Ross High School, where she played for Kim Steigerwald ... her junior year she was named second team all-league and her senior year she was named first team all-league.
