Anastasia Marie Walter was born on November 19, 1994. She is the daughter of Regina and Mark Walter, and has a sister, Alex.
High School Highlights:
Ana earned four varsity letters from Lebanon High School, where she played for Brian Kindell. She earned the Scholar Athelete Award all four years as a Warrior. Ana was named Second Team All-League her Freshman year, and First Team All-Conference her Sophomore, Junior and Senior years. As a Junior and Senior she was named First Team All-Conference. Her Senior year she was named First Team All-State and played in the GWOC South All-Star Game. Her team was Sectional Champions and District Champions her Freshman, Sophomore and Senior years. Her senior year, 2012, the Warriors were State Runners-Up.
Freshman Highlights:
(2013) Named second team All-PAC ... batted .260 with five doubles and 18 RBI ... started all 44 games for the Saints.
Sophomore Highlights:
(2014) First Thomas More softball student-athlete to be named to the NFCA All-America Team (third team) ... named first team All-Central Region and the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Player of the Year ... led the PAC in hits (62), runs scored (38), runs batted-in (37) and total bases (93) to go along with a PAC-best .493 average with runners in scoring position ... tied for second in doubles (14) and was third in batting average (.440), slugging percentage (.660), on-base percentage (.500) and home runs (5).
Junior Highlights:
(2014) Named third team NFCA All-Central Region ... named first team All-PAC ... led the team at the plate with a .359 batting average ... had one home run, two triples, 18 doubles, 19 runs batted-in and 39 runs scored ... had a .531 slugging percentage to go with a .429 on-base percentage and a .927 fielding percentage.
