CRESTVIEW HILLS, K.Y. - Thomas More University women's soccer (5-0-2, 3-0-0 G-MAC) struck for 3 first-half goals, which would be all they needed to defeat Kentucky Wesleyan College (0-6-1, 0-2-1 G-MAC) 3-0 on a scorching Thursday evening.
- Junior Josie Gruber capitalized on a perfect pass from junior Olivia Barga, slotting the ball past the Panthers' goalkeeper in the 8th minute
- In the 35th minute, senior Andjela Popovic drew a penalty, then scored on the ensuing penalty kick to put the Saints ahead 2-0
- Less than two minutes later, sophomore Alexis Harden found the back of the net after junior Riley Rolfert slipped a pass through the Kentucky Wesleyan defense in the 37th minute
- Popovic netted her 3rd goal of the season and has now scored in 3 consecutive matches
- Harden scored for the 3rd consecutive match, her 3rd goal of the campaign
