Men's Soccer Finishes Level with Lake Erie

CRESTVIEW HILLS, K.Y. - Thomas More University men's soccer (3-2-1, 1-0-1 G-MAC) scored early but could not hang on to a late lead, reaching a 3-3 draw with Lake Erie College (2-2-2, 1-0-1 G-MAC) on a humid Saturday evening after the original 4:30 kickoff was delayed by nearly two hours due to storms.

  • Senior Mauricio Medina scored his first goal of the season from just in front of net in the 3rd minute of action with an assist from junior Eddie Longhurst
  • Lake Erie bounced back with a game-tying score in the 5th minute
  • The Storm converted on a breakaway to take the lead in the 12th minute
  • Graduate student Will Fox tied the match by heading in Longhurst's corner kick in the 18th minute
