CANTON, Ohio - Thomas More University women's soccer (3-0-2, 1-0-0 G-MAC) netted a couple of early goals and held on to defeat Malone University (1-2-1, 0-0-1 G-MAC) by a 2-0 scoreline on Thursday evening in both teams' first conference match of 2026.

• Senior Andjela Popovic tapped in a cross from sophomore Alexis Harden in the 34th minute
• Harden then scored a goal of her own in the 39th minute, lobbing a shot over the Pioneers' goalkeeper off of a cross from junior Chelsea Dettwiller-Tiley

• Freshman goalkeeper Emma Yeager earned her second clean sheet of the season, making a career-high 4 saves for Thomas More
• Harden recorded 2 shots, a goal and an assist in 28 minutes
• Popovic notched her 4th point of the season with her goal
• Junior Ivy Hoffman tallied 3 shots with 2 hitting the target

The Saints will battle with Lake Erie on Saturday, with kick off scheduled for 2 p.m. at Republic Bank Field.
