(CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY) – The Thomas More University men's volleyball team defeated Southwest Baptist on Friday (April 10) after a five set battle that electrified the crowd inside the Conner Convocation Center. The Saints move to 3-19 on the year and 1-10 within the GLVC.

Thomas More defeats Southwest Baptist, 3-2

Thomas More won the first set 25-23.
Southwest Baptist won the second set 25-23.
Thomas More won the third set 25-23.
Southwest Baptist won the fourth set 25-20 forcing a fifth set.
Thomas More won the final set 15-10.

Senior Dominic Rossi (Pittsburgh, PA / Shaler Area) led the team with 23 kills and had 12 digs for a double-double. He also had a game-high 3 aces.
Sophomore Maciej Kopacz (Schaumburg, IL / James B. Conant) (15) and junior Blake Kibler (Columbus, OH / Licking Heights) (13) added to the Thomas More attack.
Senior Noah Smith-Trondle (Cincinnati, OH / Walnut Hills) had 45 assists and 11 digs.
Junior Tanner Stinnett (Fairview Heights, IL / Belleville East) had a game-high 16 digs while Maciej Kopacz added 12.
Senior Braden Hicks (Kettering, OH / Kettering Fairmont) and Senior Will Strasser (Cleves, OH / Taylor) each had a service ace and a block assist. Blake Kibler and Maciej Kopacz each added a block assist.
