Archery has good showing at Tennessee State Indoor Championships

(JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn.) – The Thomas More University archery team traveled to Carson-Newman University on Saturday (Feb. 28) for the Tennessee State Indoor Championships. The single 60-arrow round consisted of 20 ends of 3 arrows and followed USA Archery rules. The Saints had members place in four different competition categories.
 

• Junior Hallie Kriege (Independence, Ky. / Dixie Heights) took second place in women's recurve with a total score of 346.
• Senior Megan Paolucci (Hebron, Ky. / Notre Dame Academy) had a season's best 407 to finish 3^rd in women's compound.
• Freshman Gretchen Nanninga and Senior Isabel Enzweiler (Erlanger, Ky. / Covington Latin) both competed in the women's barebow. Gretchen Nanninga finished in fifth place with a score of 174 and Isabel Enzweiler finished in sixth with a score of 131.
• Three Saints competed in the men's compound competition. Freshman Luke Ronnebaum finished with 402 for 4^th place. Junior Jayden Trame finished in 5^th place with 389 and freshman Louis Bruce-Appiah finished in 6th with a score of 329.
