(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – The Thomas More athletic department congratulates the 456 student-athletes who earned a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or above during the 2023 spring semester. These athletes are named to the AD's list. There are 35 more student-athletes named to the list than the 2022 fall semester. 266 student-athletes were named to the president's list with a GPA of 3.5 or above. The overall cumulative GPA for the athletics department for the 2022-23 academic year was 3.10, while the GPA for the spring term was 3.17.
The Saints had 20 programs achieve a cumulative GPA over 3.0 for the 2022-23 academic year, while 22 programs achieved the feat during the 2023 spring semester. 10 programs had a cumulative GPA over 3.25 for the 2022-23 academic year, while 13 had a 3.25 or above during the spring semester.
The women's cross-country team (3.57) achieved the highest cumulative team GPA, while the men's tennis team (3.14) had the highest of the men's programs, and the archery team (3.30) had the highest cumulative GPA of the combined sports. For the 2023 spring semester, women's cross country led the way with a 3.69 GPA, while men's bowling had a 3.27 and the Esports team had a 3.35.
