Women’s Track and Field Places 20th at the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Outdoor Open

(Cedarville, OH)- Thomas More University's women's track and field team placed 20th at the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Outdoor Open hosted by Cedarville University (March 28).

• First-year Klaryssa Vivero (Fort Wright, KY/Dixie Heights) placed 47th in hammer throw at 34.38m
• First-year Kate Resing placed 25th in long jump at 4.80m, and 20th in the 100m hurdles with a time of 17.66
• First-year Alyssa Brunk (Liberty Township, OH/Lakota East) placed 19th in the 3k steeple chase with a time of 12:47.27
• Senior Marlee Ross placed 54th in the 1500m with a time of 5:15.71
• Senior Joelle Klavon placed 23rd in the 400m with a time of 1:02.13
• First-year Campbell Gerling (Bowling Green, KY/South Warren) placed 6th in the 800m with a time of 2:19.78
• Senior Savannah Faught (Georgetown, OH/Georgetown) placed 19th in the 5k with a time of 18:16.88
• The "A" 4x400m team placed 4th with a time of 4:19.41

The Saints jump right back into action at the Wilmington College Invitational (Wilmington, OH) on Friday and Saturday April 3-4.
