Freshman Highlights (2026): Competed in 5 indoor meets and all 5 outdoor meets. Ran her fastest 60m Hurdles at the MSJ Fall Preview with a time of 9.48. Had marks of 10.30m in the triple jump at the Steemer Showcase and 4.94m in the long jump at the Centre Indoor Showcase during the indoor season. At the Otterbein Twilight Meet she ran the 100m Hurdles in 15.36 seconds and the 400 Hurdles in 1:12.69 at the Norse Invitational. She was a member of the 4x100 relay team that ran a total time of 49.29 at the G-MAC Outdoor Championships and set a new school record.

Personal: Kate Resing is the daughter of Markus and Julie Resing. She had two siblings, Anna and Nathan. Resing attended Notre Dame Academy where she earned two varsity letters. She was named First Team All-State her senior year and broke the school record for 60-meter hurdles and 55-meter hurdles. Her brother Nathan currently attends Thomas More and is on the men's golf team.
