Men’s Volleyball falls to Rockhurst

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY) – The Thomas More University men's volleyball team fell to Rockhurst University in three sets on Saturday afternoon (March 28). The Saints fall to 2-17 on the season and 0-8 in the GLVC.
 

Rockhurst defeats Thomas More, 3-0.

• Rockhurst won the opening set 25-17.
• Rockhurst took the second set by a score of 25-19.
• Rockhurst won the final set 25-14.

 

• Senior Dominic Rossi (Pittsburgh, PA / Shaler Area) had 15 kills, a service ace and two block assists.
• Senior Noah Smith-Trondle (Cincinnati, OH / Walnut Hills) had 25 assists and a solo block.
• Junior Blake Kibler (Columbus, OH / Licking Heights) had six digs while junior Tanner Stinnett (Fairview Heights, IL / Belleville East) led the team with three receptions.
• Senior Braden Hicks (Kettering, OH / Kettering Fairmont) had a service ace.
• Senior Will Strasser (Cleves, OH / Taylor) had two block assists.

 

The Saints will have their final road series of the season next weekend (April 3 and 4) as they travel to Missouri S&T. Friday's match is set to begin at 6:00 PM CT.
