Thomas More finishes the OBC Event 4 in 11th

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – The Thomas More University women's bowling team took 11th place at the OBC Event 4 on Saturday (February 7). With a total score of 5140.
 
 

• The team was comprised of freshman Lexi Apgar (Independence, KY / Simon Kenton), junior Annette Nichols (Burlington, KY / Cooper), sophomore Baylee Spickard (Lexington, KY / Franklin County), junior Elizabeth Steil (Mason, OH / Mount Notre Dame), sophomore Hallie Holtzman (Miamisburg, OH / Miamisburg), freshman Maire Brogan (Cincinnati, OH / Seton), sophomore Reagan Hill (Newport, KY / Newport Central Catholic), and sophomore Taylor Waltier Tacoma, WA / Dr. Dolores Silas HS) and the team competed in 32 baker games.
• The team opened with scores of 142, 169, 244, 160, 170, 179, 139, and 156 in the first eight games and with baker games 9-16 scores of 155, 182, 185, 156, 156, 157, 222, and 144 they brought their total for the first half to 2716.
• In the 17th-24th baker games, the Saints bowled scores of 124, 135, 189, 179, 157, 146, 158, and 154. In the final eight games, the scores were 118, 119, 158, 138, 160, 168, 157, and 164

 
 
The Saints will be back in action this coming weekend (Feb14-15) as they had to Indianapolis for the Hoosier Classic.
