(NEWPORT, KY) – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference announced the Women's Bowling end of season awards at the 2025-2026 Championships during the awards ceremony on Friday (March 20) following qualifying. The Saints had three athletes earn awards.
Maire Brogan (Cincinnati, OH / Seton) was named the Women's Freshman of the Year. She averaged 151 over the course of the 24 games she competed in with a total pin fall of 3626.
Junior
Annette Nichols (Burlington, KY / Cooper) was named to the All-Conference Team. Over the season, she knocked down a total of 4900 pins over 29 games for a 168.9 average during the season.
Sophomore
Baylee Spickard (Lexington, KY / Franklin County) was also named to the All-Conference Team. The sophomore averaged 177.4 over the 44 games she competed in with a total pin count of 7805.
All three of these bowlers along with the other members of the Thomas More women's bowling team will continue competition at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Bowling Championships this weekend as Thomas More hosts at Super Bowl Bellewood in Newport, Kentucky.
