Women’s Tennis falls to University of Indianapolis

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY) – The Thomas More University women's tennis team was defeated by the University of Indianapolis on Friday (Feb. 27), 6-0. The Saints fall to 4-3 on the season.
 

• Senior Alexis Covington (Cincinnati, OH / Walnut Hills) and freshman Bella Flores (Chillicothe, OH / Chillicothe) defeated Magda Kornijczuk and Maelys Thiery-James by a score of 5-4.
• Freshman Ella Cason (Owensboro, KY / Owensboro Catholic) and sophomore Hallie Lathram (Nicholasville, KY / Lexington Catholic) fell to Silvia Zappoli and Linya Chen 6-2.
• Freshman Sadie Jones (Fort Mitchell, KY / Beechwood) and sophomore Lindsey Greb (Butler, PA / Knoch / Saint Francis University) were defeated by Sofia Cardenas and Jimene DePablos Hernando by 3-6.

 

• Alexis Covington fell to Maelys Thiery-James by 2-6 and 0-6.
• Ella Cason was defeated by Jimena DePablos Hernando 2-6 and 2-6.
• Bella Flores lost to Magda Kornijczuk 4-6 and 3-6.
• Hallie Lathram fell to Silvia Zappoli 2-6 and 0-6.
• Sadie Jones fell 3-6 and 3-6 to Linya Chen.

 

The Saints will travel to Hilton Head, South Carolina to face Chowan, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and Ohio Wesleyan.
