Men’s Tennis falls to the Greyhounds

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY) – The Thomas More men's tennis team fell to the #13 University of Indianapolis on Friday (Feb. 27) by a score of 2-5. The Saints fall to 4-3 on the season.
 

• Senior Raphael Delente (Chapet, France / Notre Dame Les Oiseaux / Riverside City College) and junior Magnus Hauska (Taufkirchen, Germany / Gymnasium Oberhaching / Missouri Valley / Southwestern) fell to Mathieu Derache and Asier Ayllon Prado 4-6.
• Senior Samuel Mimbrero Lendinez (Madrid, Spain / Gaspar Sanz) and sophomore Camille Le Guellec (Treillieres, France / Cofab Ifom) defeated Tadeo Gaggiofatto and Zaid Shelbaya 6-4.
• Sophomore Reggie Bechtel (Flatwoods, KY / Paul G. Blazer) and sophomore Bernat Coll Ballester (Barcelona, Spain / Escola Lleo XIII) won by a score of 7-6 over Jovan Matovic and Lorenzo Di Cursi.

 

• Raphael Delente fell to Tadeo Gaggiofatto 3-6 and 3-6.
• Magnus Hauska was defeated by Jovan Matovic 1-6 and 2-6.
• Camille Le Guellec fell 2-6 and 3-6 to Mathieu Derache.
• Sophomore Tammo Kreiser (Darmstadt, Germany / Justus Liebig Schule / Oakland City University) was defeated by Vladislav Gorbatenko 3-6, 7-6, 1-0.
• Bernat Coll Ballester fell to Zaid Shelbaya 1-6 and 2-6.
• Freshman Jaume Boucher defeated Nicholas Balzola Izquierdo 6-3 and 6-4.

 

The Saints will head to Hilton Head, South Carolina to take on Chowan, Ohio Wesleyan and Rhodes.
