Women’s Track and Field Competes at the Wittenberg Invite

(Springfield, OH) -Thomas More University's women's track and field team competed at the Wittenberg Invite hosted by Wittenberg University (Feb. 20).

• Senior Savannah Faught (Georgetown, OH/Georgetown) ran a PR and set the schoolrecord in the 3k with a time of 10:37.38.
• First-year Alyssa Brunk (Liberty Township, OH/Lakota East) ran a PR in the 3k with a time of 11:04.06.
• Senior Marley Ross (Brookville, OH/Brookville) placed 42nd in the mile with a time of 5:36.52.
• First-year Jordyn Brockman (Burlington, KY/St. Henry) placed 46th in the mile with a time of 5:42.99.
• First-year Kate Resing (Ft. Wright, KY/Notre Dame Academy) placed 8th in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.65.
• First-year Brooke Grauel (Cleves, OH/Taylor) placed 20th in the 400m dash with a time of 1:02.72.
• First-year Sophia Maki placed 6th in the 60m dash with a time of 7.92, and 8th in the 200m dash with a time of 25.55.
• First-year Campbell Gerling (Bowling Green, KY/South Warren) set the school record and set a PR, placing 11th in the 800m with a time of 2:21.28.
• Junior Joelle Klavon (Carmel, IN/Guerin Catholic) placed 18th in the 800m with a time of 2:25.99.
• Junior McKenzie Bien (Harrison, OH/William Henry Harrison) placed 13th in weight throw at 13.21m.
• Junior Miranda Csordas (Melbourne, KY/Bishop Brossart) placed 8th in the high jump at 1.42m.
• First-year Madison Howard placed 16th in the long jump at 4.91m.

The Saints will conclude their indoor season at the G-MAC Indoor Championships (Feb. 27-28) hosted by Ashland University (Ashland, OH).
