Women’s Track and Field Places 8th at the Wittenberg Steemer Showcase

(Springfield, OH) -Thomas More University's women's track and field team placed 8^th at the Wittenberg Steemer Showcase hosted by Wittenberg University (Jan. 31) with a team score of 30.

• Senior Savannah Faught (Georgetown, OH/Georgetown) and first-year Alyssa Brunk (Liberty Township, OH/ Lakota East) placed 10^th and 23^rd in the 5k, Faught with 18:32.31, and Brunk with a PR of 19:37.51
• The 4x200m team set the school record with a time of 1:49.25
• Senior Dyllan Hasler (Independence, KY/Scott) placed 37^th in the mile with a time of 5:36.89
• First-year Sophia Maki placed 6^th in the 60m dash with a time of 8.03
• First-year Campbell Gerling (Bowling Green, KY/South Warren) placed 15^th in the 800m with a time of 2:23.67
• First-year Brooke Grauel (Cleves, OH/Taylor) placed 31^st in the 400m dash with a PR of 1:04.42
• Senior Savannah Faught (Georgetown, OH/Georgetown) placed 26^th in the 3000m with a time of 11:07.16
• First-year Alyssa Brunk (Liberty Township, OH/Lakota East) placed 28^th in the 300m with a PR of 11:28.14
• The 4x400m team placed 11^th with a time of 4:24.12
• First-year Kate Resing (Fort Wright, KY/Notre Dame Academy) placed 14^th in long jump at 4.81m and. 1^st in triple jump with a PR of 33' 9.5

The Saints return to Wittenburg University (Springfield, OH) for the Wittenberg Invite (Feb. 21).
