Davis Burleigh hit the game winning field goal as time expired to give Saints their first win of the year. Thomas More moves 1-4 on the year and 1-2 in the G-MAC. Walsh falls to 4-1 overall and 2-1 in the conference. It is the first victory over a ranked opponent in the Division II era for Thomas More Football.

The Saints took a 14-3 lead on a pass from
Ben Chesser to Jaiden Combs with 5:23 remaining in the first half. The Cavaliers scored a touchdown at the 1:47 mark as the Saints took a 14-10 lead into the halftime break.
