Women’s Track and Field Places 3rd at the Centre Indoor Showcase

(Danville, KY) -Thomas More University's women's track and field team placed 3rd at the Centre Indoor Showcase hosted by Centre College (Jan. 23) with a team score of 87.  

• Senior Savannah Faught (Georgetown, OH/Georgetown) and first-year Alyssa Brunk (Liberty Township, OH/Lakota East) place 1st and 3rd respectively with times of 18:57.87 and 20:01.99 

• Senior Dyllan Hasler (Independence, KY/Scott) placed 3rd in the mile with a time of 5:37.61 

• First-year Kate Resing (Ft. Wright, KY/Notre Dame Academy) placed 3rd in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.76 

• Senior Maggie McSorley (Versialles, KY/Woodford County) PR'd in the 200m dahs with a time of 32.17 

• First-year Campbell Gerling (Bowling Green, KY/South Warren) and senior Joelle Klavon (Carmel, IN/Guerin Catholic) placed 1st and 3rd respectively in the 800m run with times of 2:28.60 and 2:34.79 

• The women's 4x400m relay team 2nd with a time of 4:22.15 

• First year Kate Resing (Ft. Wright, KY/Notre Dame Academy) placed 4th in long jump at 4.94m 

• First-year Madison Howard placed 6th in long jump at 4.84 

• First-year Michelle Holley (Union, KY/Ryle) placed 8th and PR'd in long jump at 4.76 

• Junior Mckenzie Bien (Harrison, OH/William Henry Harrison) placed 6th in weight throw at 11.84m 

The Saints travel north for the Wittenburg Steemer Showcase on January 31st at Wittenburg University (Springfield, OH).
