Women's Basketball Beats ODU on the Road

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)-Thomas More University's women's basketball team defeated ODU on Thursday (Jan 15), 70-65. The Saints overall record improves to 14-1 and 6-1 in conference.
First Half
  • Senior Sereniti Webb (Covington, Ky./Simon Kenton) kicked things off for the Saints by hitting a jump shot with 8:00 on the clock to put the Saints within three (2-5).
  • Junior Desiree Tandy (Danville, Ky./Danville) made a jump shot with 4:37 to play in the quarter to make it a 8-10 game.
  • Sereniti Webb drove to the rim for a layup for the Saints final basket of the quarter with 18 seconds left to make it a 14-16 game at the end of the first quarter.
  • Sereniti Webb knocked in a jump shot with 9:01 on the clock to get things started for the Saints in the second quarter (14-18).
