Women's Cross Country Finishes Second at Season Opener

(TIFFIN, Ohio)-Thomas More University's women's cross country team placed second out of five teams on Friday evening (September 5) at the Tiffelberg Invitational.

• Senior Savannah Faught (Georgetown, Ohio/Georgetown) placed fourth with a time of 19:09.6.
• Senior Dyllan Hasler (Independence, Ky./Scott) followed in the top 10, placing ninth with a time of 20:07.5.
• First year Campbell Gerling (Bowling Green, Ky./South Warren) came in 11th with a time of 20:17.2.
• Senior Joelle Klavon (Carmel, Ind./Guerin Catholic) finished with a time of 20:40.5 to come in 16th.
• First year Jordyn Brockman (Burlington, Ky./St. Henry) placed 21st with a time of 21:04.2.
• Sophomore Ashtyn Gindling (Sunman, Ind./East Central) came in 24th with a time of 21:26.1.
• First year Nicole Myers (Cleves, Ohio/Taylor) followed in 25th with a time of 21:47.8.
• First year Alyssa Brunk (Liberty Township, Ohio/Lakota East) finished in 28th with a time of 22:13.2.
• Junior Marie Datillo (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) came in 35th with a time of 23:19.3.
• Sophomore Emily Brown (Villa Hills, Ky./Dixie Heights) followed in 36th with a time of 23:29.9.
• Senior Maggie McSorley (Versailles, Ky./Woodford County) finished 38th with a time of 23:40.0.
• Sophomore Ava Reveal (Ameila, Ohio/West Clermont) came in 40th with a time of 23:57.8.
• First year Abigail Glace (Cincinnati, Ohio/McNicholas) placed 42nd with a time of 24:00.5.
• Senior Jess Sanders (Finneytown, Ohio/Finneytown) ran a time of 24:43.5 to place 45th.
• Junior Taylor Crawford (Catlettsburg, Ky./Boyd County) rounded out the group placing 47th with a time of 25:45.0.

The Saints return to action next Saturday (September 13) at 10:00 am at the Hanover Invitational.
