(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University's women's soccer team fell by a final score of 3 to 2 to Roosevelt on Saturday (September, 13th). Thomas More falls to a 1-3 record on the season as the head into G-MAC play.
- Roosevelt scored the only goal in the first half to take the early lead.
- Graduate student Amy Bos (Nijmegen, Netherlands / Mondial College) tied the game up in the 75th minute with a break away goal.
- Roosevelt responded with a goal in the 86th minute to break the 1-1 tie and retake the lead.
- Sophomore Bethel Green (Lexington, KY / Paul Laurence Dunbar) had the equalizer for the Saints as she rebounded a shot on goal and put it in the back of the net to tie the game at 2.
- In the 88th minute, Roosevelt would score off a free kick that would be the eventual game winner.
- Sophomore Josie Gruber (Westerville, OH / Westerville North) posted a shot on goal for the Saints with two total shots.
- Bethel Green and Amy Bos each recorded a goal for the Saints

The Saints return on Thursday (September, 18th) when they play host to Malone University. That will mark the opening of conference play. Kick-off is set for 5:00 PM.
