Women’s Cross Country Places First at the Hanover Invitational

(Hanover, IN)- Thomas More University's women's cross-country team placed first out of seven teams at the Hanover Invitational hosted by Hanover on Saturday (Sept. 13) with a team score of 45. 

• Senior Savannah Faught (Georgetown, OH/ Georgetown) led the saints and placed 3rd overall with a time of 19:42.89. 

• First-Year Campbell Gerling (Bowling Green, KY/ South Warren) followed, placing 8th overall with a time of 21:07.71. 

• Senior Joelle Klavon (Carmel, IN/ Guerin Catholic) placed 9th overall with a time of 21:08.37. 

• First-Year Jordyn Brockman (Burlington, KY/ St. Henry) placed 10th overall with a time of 21:12.25. 

• Sophomore Ashtyn Gindling (Sunman, IN/ East Central) placed 16th with a time of 21:46.65. 

• Senior Marlee Ross (Brookeville, OH/ Brookville) placed 20th with a time of 22:01.81. 

• First-Year Nichole Myers (Cleves, OH/ Taylor) placed 24th with a time of 22:23.19. 

• First-Year Alyssa Brunk (Liberty Township, OH/ Lakota East) placed 30th with a time of 22:55.37. 

• Senior Jess Sanders (Finneytown, OH/ Finneytown) placed 34th with a time of 23:11.27. 

• Junior Marie Dattilo (Cincinatti, OH/ Seton) placed 38th with a time of 23:35.99. 

• First-Year Brooke Grauel (Cleves, OH/ Taylor) placed 40th with a time of 23:45.26. 

• Sophomore Ava Reveal (Amelia, OH/ West Clermont) placed 41st with a time of 23:49.45. 

• Sophomore Emily Brown (Villa Hills, KY/ Dixie Heights) placed 42nd with a time of 23:51.44. 

• Senior Maggie McSorley (Versailles, KY/ Woodford County) placed 50th with a time of 24:35.07. 

• First-Year Abigail Glace (Cincinatti, OH/ McNicholas) placed 53rd with a time of 24:44.46. 

• Junior Taylor Crawford (Catlettsburg, KY/ Boyd County) placed 59th with a time of 26:29.36. 

The Saints return next Friday (Sept. 19) at the National Catholic Invite hosted by Notre Dame.
