(Florence, KY)- Thomas More's baseball team fell to Walsh on Monday afternoon (April 7), 2-1 in game on and 21-9 in game two. The Saints record falls to 9-23 on the year and 3-12 in conference play.

Thomas More responded in a big way with five runs in the bottom of the second, thanks in large part to senior Gavin Vogelgesang's (Cincinnati, OH / St. Xavier) 3-run home run (5-4). First year Miguel Correa Jr. (Avon, IN / Avon) added the other two runs with a triple to give the Saints a 6-5 lead.

First year Chad Atchley (Peach Grove, KY / Simon Kenton) got an RBI with a single to center in the third making it a 6-4 game.

Thomas More will visit UC Clermont tomorrow (April 8th). They will return to Thomas More stadium on April 18th to face Ohio Dominican. First pitch tomorrow is scheduled for 3 PM.
