(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference announced their 2024-25 women's tennis All-Conference honors this afternoon (April, 24th) and Saint junior
Alexis Covington (Cincinnati, OH / Walnut Hills) earned Second Team All-Conference honors.
This marks the second time in her career that Covington earned All-Conference honors. During her freshman season she earned Second Team All-Mid South Conference honors. Earlier this season Covington also earned G-MAC Athlete of the Week for Women's Tennis on March 31st.
Covington has posted a season singles record 9-8 on the year while playing in the #1 singles position. She posted a 5-4 conference record. In doubles she posted a season record of 10-7 out of the first doubles position, and a conference record of 4-5.
Covington and the Saints compete in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament this weekend. They take on the number three seed, Hillsdale today in Owensboro, KY.
