Saints Fall to the Dragons to Close Season

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY) - The Thomas More men's lacrosse team fell at Tiffin on Tuesday (April, 22nd) by a score of 13 to 11. Thomas More ends the season with an overall record of 2-12 and a G-MAC record of 1-8.

How they scored
  • Thomas More gets a hot start from graduate student Wyatt Fruland (Cincinnati, OH / Indian Hill) who scores the games first two goals with one off an assist from junior Spencer Lethbridge (Cleveland, OH / Olmsted Falls). 
  • First year Camden Newell (Westerville, OH / Olentangy Orange) made it a 3 to 0 game with an unassisted goal.
  • Tiffin responded with two goals and junior Joe Mariani (Warners, NY / Mater Dei) answered with an unassisted goal to make it a 4 to 2 game.
  • Tiffin tied it up with two more goals.
  • Thomas More took a 5 to 4 lead into the second quarter with a quick unassisted goal from sophomore Stephen Schodowski (Chula Vista, CA / St. Augustine).
  • Tiffin scored the next three goals of the game to take a 7 to 5 lead.
  • Spencer Lethbridge scores a goal, then dishes an assist on a goal from junior Graham Houser (Hilliard, OH / St. Charles) to tie the game at 7.
  • Wyatt Fruland scores before half and the Saints take a 8 to 7 lead into the break.
  • Tiffin takes a 9 to 8 lead with two goals to open the third quarter.
  • Spencer Lethbridge tallied back to back goals, then records another assist on a Wyatt Fruland to make it an 11 to 9 game.
  • Tiffin scored the final four goals of the game to go on and win 13 to 11.
