Men's Volleyball Concludes Season In IVA Quarterfinals

(St. Louis, MO) - The Thomas More University men's volleyball team faced off against the Roosevelt University Lakers and the Lincoln Memorial University Railsplitters on Friday (April 18) in the IVA Tournament.  Thomas More defeated Roosevelt in five thrilling sets, but ultimately lost to Lincoln Memorial in three sets in game two.  The Saints finish their season 8-15 overall.

Match 1: Thomas More defeats Roosevelt, 3-2.

 
  • Roosevelt won the opening set 25 to 22.

  • Thomas More won the second set 25 to 18.

  • Thomas More won the third set 25 to 17.

  • Roosevelt won the fourth set 25 to 19.

  • Thomas More ultimately won the fifth set and the match15 to 13.

 

Match 2: Lincoln Memorial defeats Thomas More, 0-3.

 
  • Lincoln Memorial won the opening set 25 to 14.

  • Lincoln Memorial won the second set 25 to 19.
