Women's Basketball Closes Out Season Against Ashland in G-MAC Tournament Quarterfinals

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University's women's basketball team fell to No. 1 seed Ashland on Tuesday evening (March 4) in the G-MAC Tournament Quarterfinals, 81-49. The Saints finished their season win an overall record of 11-18 and 8-12 in conference.

First Half
  • Sophomore Morgan Hunt (Hollansburg, OH / Tri-Village) made a layup in the paint to kick things off for the Saints with 9:18 on the clock (2-2).
  • Junior Sereniti Webb (Covington, KY / Simon Kenton) made one free throw with 5:52 to play in the quarter to make it a 7-9 game.
  • Junior Natalie Noel (Salem, IN / Salem) made a layup to put the Saints within eight with 14 seconds left in the quarter (14-22).
  • The Saints trailed 23-14 at the end of the first quarter.
  • Sereniti Webb knocked in one free throw to start things off in the second quarter with 9:10 on the clock (15-23).
