Softball Swept by Ashland in Sunday Doubleheader

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University's softball team fell to Ashland on Sunday afternoon (March 30) 6-0 in game one and 18-1 in game two in five innings. The Saints overall record falls to 11-15 and 1-7 in conference.

How they scored
Game one:
  • Ashland scored one run in the 1st, 5th, and 6th innings, and added three runs in the 7th to lead 6 to 0.
Game two:
  • Ashland scored 9 runs in the first two innings to take the lead.
  • Ashland added 9 more runs over the next three innings to lead 18 to 0.
