Lethbridge and Fruland Post Hat-Tricks in Loss to Davenport

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY) - The Men's Lacrosse team at Thomas More took on Davenport on Saturday (March, 29th). The Saints fell by a final score of 18 to 11. Thomas More moves to 2-8 overall and 1-5 in G-MAC play.

  • Davenport scored the games first two goals to take the early lead.
  • Graduate Wyatt Fruland (Cincinnati, Oh / Indian Hill) scored the first two goals for the Saints with one off an assist from junior David Billings (Simpsonville, Ky / Martha Layne Collins) as TMU trails 3 to 2.
  • Davenport extended their lead to 8 to 2 with 5 more goals.
  • Sophomore Noah Koenig found the back of the net to cut into the Davenport lead. (3-8)
  • Davenport extended their lead into the second half with four more goals. (3-12)

  • Davenport scored, and the Saints responded with three goals from the sticks of Joe Mariani, Graham Houser and Wyatt Fruland (Assists from Lethbridge and Fruland) to make it a 15 to 9 game.
  • Spencer Lethbridge answeres a Davenport goal off an assist from Wyaty Fruland to keep the game at 6.
  • Davenport adds two more goals, and Wyatt Frualand finds Spencer Lethbridge with a pass for a goal to make it an 18 to 11 fina.
