(CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY) - The Thomas More University Women's Basketball team defeated the Cedarville Yellow Jackets on Saturday (February, 15th) by a score of 72 to 65 in overtime. Thomas More moves to 10-15 overall on the season and 7-10 in G-MAC play.
- First year Anna Drakeford (Harrodsburg, KY / Mercer County) got the scoring started with an opening possesion bucket in the paint.
- Thomas More sprints out to an early 10 point lead following back to back three pointers from junior Sereniti Webb (Covington, KY / Simon Kenton) and junior Natalie Noel (Salem, IN / Salem).
- With 4:40 to go in the first quarter, sophomore Morgan Hunt (Hollansburg, OH / Tri-Village) makes a bucket to make it a 13 to 3 game.
