(Cincinnati, OH) Thomas More University's women's track and field team placed 1st at the MSJ College Preview hosted by Mt. Saint Joseph University (Dec. 6) with a team score of 194.

· The 5k was dominated by the Saints, senior Savannah Faught (Georgetown, OH/Georgetown) and first-year Alyssa Brunk (Liberty Township, OH/Lakota East) placed 1st and 2nd, respectively, with times of 19:20.38 and 19:57.14
· First-years Kate Resing and Michelle Holley (Union, KY/Ryle)placed 1st and 5th in the 60m hurdles respectively, with times of 9.48 and 10.70
· First-year Sophia Maki dominated the 60m and 200m dashes, placing 1st in both events with times of 7.99 and 26.04, respectively
· 4x200 relay "A" team placed 3rd with a time of 1:50.20
· Senior Dyllan Hasler (Independence, KY/Scott) placed 1st in the mile with a time of 5:37.83, as well as 1st in the 800m with a time of 2:24.74
· Senior Marlee Ross (Brookville, OH/Brookville) and first-year Nicole Myers (Cleves, OH/Taylor) placed 2nd and 3rd in the mile with times of 5:51.43 and 5:58.85 respectively
· Senior Makayla Abbott placed 3rd in the 400m with a time of 1:06.03
· First-year Campbell Gerling (Bowling Green, KY/South Warren) and junior Joelle Klavon (Carmel, IN/Guerin Catholic) placed 3rd and 4th in the 800m with times of 2:25.99 and 2:30.74, respectively
· Senior Savannah Faught (Georgetown, OH/Georgetown) placed 1st in the 800 with a time of 11:22.11
· Junior Emma Botkins (Taylorsville, KY/Spencer County) pr'd in the shot put at 7.91m, as well as the weight throw at 10.48m
· Junior Mckenzie Bien (Harrison, KY/William Henry Harrison) placed 9th in the shot put at 9.78m, as well as 6th in the weight throw at 13.23m

After a brief pause for the holiday season - while still training of course - the Saints will continue their indoor season at the Centre First Chance on Jan. 24 at Centre College (Danville, KY).
