Women's Volleyball Has Three Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

(GREENWOOD, IN) – The College Sports Communicators announced their 2025 women's volleyball Academic All-District Teams Tuesday afternoon and the Saints had three student-athletes recognized. These student-athletes are senior Matilde Giamberini (Gornate Olona, Italy / Liceo Curie), sophomore Taylor Stivers (Louisville, KY / Atherton) and sophomore Kat Koepke (New Haven, IN / New Haven Sr.). Student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, and III as well as the NAIA are recognized for this honor.

To be nominated, the student-athlete must be a sophomore both academically and athletically. They must have competed in 90% of the institution's games/contests/sets played or must start in at least 66% of the games/contests/sets. The student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale). Graduate students must have a minimum of a 3.50 for both their graduate program GPA and their undergraduate GPA.

Matilde Giamberini is an Exercise Science major with a 3.59 GPA. She appeared in all 96 sets and started in all 26 matches. She posted 198 kills on the year, 18 service aces, and 79 total blocks on the season.

Taylor Stivers is a Nursing major with a 3.59 GPA. She appeared in all 96 sets as the libero for Thomas More. She tallied 387 digs on the season.

Kat Koepke is a Secondary Education major with a 3.68 GPA. She appeared in 90 total sets and 25 matches on the year. She tallied 129 kills, and 31 total blocks on the season.
