Women's Soccer Falls to Walsh

(North Canton, OH) – The Thomas More women's soccer team faced off against Walsh University on Thursday (October 30th) and came up short with a final score of 4-1. Moving their overall record to 6-9-1 and 5-6-1 in conference.

How they scored

  • In the 29th minute, Walsh scored to put them up 1-0.
  • Walsh increased their lead by scoring another goal in the 40th minute, moving the score to 2-0
  • At the 53-minute mark, sophomore Ivy Hoffman (Covington, Ky./Holy Cross) scored a goal, putting the Saints on the board, 2-1.
  • The ball found the back of the net for Walsh in the 63rd minute, moving them up to 3-1
  • Towards the end of the second half, Walsh scored again in the 83rd minute, to make the final score 4-1.
