(Crestview Hills, KY) - The Thomas More men's volleyball team faced off against the Central State University Marauders on Tuesday (January 14) in their second match of the season. The Saints defeated the Marauders in three sets. The Saints are now 1-1 overall and 1-1 in non-conference play. First year head coach Harris Boyes, picks up his first career coaching victory.

Thomas More defeats Central State, 3-0
- Thomas More won the opening set 30 to 28.
- Thomas More won the second set 25 to 17.
- Thomas More won the third set 25 to 20.

- Senior Ben Albers (Cincinnati, OH/Elder) led the Saints in kills with 10. He also led the team in digs with 8.
- Junior Will Strasser (Cleves, OH/Taylor) led the team in service aces with 3.
- Junior Noah Smith-Trondle (Cincinnati, OH/Walnut Hills) led the team in assists with 26.
- Sophomore Omarion Pierce (Hickman, KY/Fulton County) led the team in solo blocks with 3.

- Thomas More men's volleyball team returns to play on Thursday (January 16) against Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, OH. The match is set for 7:00 PM.
