Women's Cross Country Competes at Tiffleberg Invite in Season Opener

(TIFFIN, OH.) – Thomas More University women's cross-country team placed 4th at the Tiffleberg Open hosted by Tiffin on Friday (September 6th) with a team score of 82. The Saints traveled to northern Ohio to race several GMAC foes in a 5k before competing in several familiar meets throughout Kentucky and Indiana.

 

• Junior Savannah Faught (Georgetown, OH./Georgetown) led the Saints with a 3rd place finish and a time of 18:41.
• Junior Dyllan Hasler (Independence, KY./Scott) finished 13th overall with a time of 19:34.
• The junior duo of Marlee Ross (Brookville, OH./Brookville) and Joelle Klavon (Carmel, IN./Guerin Catholic) finished in 20th and 21st with a two-second split, both coming in under 20 minutes at 19:56 and 19:58.
• Sophomore Elizabeth Jackson (Cincinnati, OH./Seton Hall) rounded out the Saints top 5 finishers in 30th place and a time of 20:28.

• The Saints travel to Hanover, IN. on Saturday, September 14th to compete and make a statement at the Hanover Invitational.
