Rae'Von Vaden (Louisville, KY / Marion C. Moore) of the football program picked up Great Midwest Athletic Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week honors for his performance in the Saints 44 to 21 victory on Saturday (September, 28th). This marks the first time this season that a member of the football program has earned an all-conference award.
Vaden earns this honor following a game that saw him pass for 271 yards on 19 completions. He tallied three touchdowns in the air. He also ran for 96 yards on 11 carries and added another score.
Vaden and the Saints are back in action this Saturday (October, 5th) when they travel to face Tiffin. That game is set to kick off at 4:00 PM.
