(SOUTH BEND, IN.) – Thomas More University women's cross-country team placed 11th at the National Catholic Invite hosted by Notre Dame on Friday (September 20th) with a team score of 283. The Saints made the trek to South Bend, IN. to compete in a 5km race against the likes of NCAA Divison-I teams, including the Irish, Bellarmine, Depaul, Marquette, and Loyola (Ill.).

- Junior Savannah Faught (Georgetown, OH./Georgetown) led the Saints with a top-50 finish, crossing the finish line at the 19:18 mark.
- Junior Dyllan Hasler (Independence, KY./Scott) finished 68th overall with a time of 19:50.
- The junior duo of Joelle Klavon (Carmel, IN./Guerin Catholic) and Marlee Ross (Brookville, OH./Brookville) finished in 87th and 96th, with just a 17-second split between them, coming in at 20:25 and 20:42.
- Sophomore Elizabeth Jackson (Cincinnati, OH./Seton) rounded out the Saints top 5 finishers in 101st place and a time of 20:47.

The Saints will head into a bye-week from racing and train for the largest meet in Kentucky on October 5th in Louisville. Thomas More will be represented at Live in the Lou and look to make a statement.
