Saints Sweep Walsh to Stay Unbeaten in G-MAC Play

(Crestview Hills, KY) - The Thomas More women's volleyball team faced off against Walsh University on Saturday (September 21) in their third conference game of the season.  The Saints swept Walsh in three sets and now move to 7-4 overall and 3-0 in conference play.

 

 Thomas More defeats Walsh, 3-0.

• Thomas More won the opening set 25 to 18.
• Thomas More won the second set 25 to 16.
• Thomas More won the third set 25 to 21.

 

• Junior Ebony Gomez (Merida, Venezuela/Colegio Salesiano San Luis) led the Saints in kills with 15.
• Freshman Audrey Warrick (Linton, IN/Linton Stockton) led the Saints in assists with 18.
• Senior Asia Ferrando (Masone, Italy/Barletti Ovada) led the match in digs with 15.  She also led in service aces with 3.
• Junior Ella Bell (Terre Haute, IN/Terre Haute North) led in blocks with 3.

 

• The Thomas More women's volleyball team returns to play on Wednesday (September 25) against Central State University at Central State University.  The match is set for 6:00 PM.
