(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced Thursday (July, 25th) that is will start sponsoring men's volleyball as its 25th sport, beginning in the 2025-26 academic year. The Thomas More Saints men's volleyball program was granted associate membership status in October of 2023.
Thomas More is coming off of a 16-12 season in 2024 that saw the Saints reach the finals of the the IVA Volleyball conference tournament. Thomas More will be one of seven institutions that will be featured in the inaugural season of the GLVC in the spring of 2026. The other six members are Maryville University, Missouri S&T, Quincy University, Rockhurst University, Southwest Baptist University, and associate member Roosevelt University.
The inaugural GLVC Men's Volleyball Championship Tournament will take place March 23rd-25th, 2026, as a four-team, single-elimination formate at a site yet to be determined.
