Saints Top Tiffin in Season Finale Behind Simpson's OT Winner

(TIFFIN, OH) - The Thomas More men's lacrosse team defeated Tiffin in overtime by a score of 13 to 12 on Tuesday (April, 23rd) evening. Saints senior Donahugh Simpson (Spanish Town, Jamaica / St. George's) scored the game winning goal in overtime. Thomas More finished the season with an overall record of 2-10 and a G-MAC record of 2-6.

• First year Bryce Collins (Lewis Center, OH / Olentangy) got the Saints on the scoreboard with an unassisted goal to make it 1 to 0.
• Tiffin answered with two goals to take the lead.
• Sophomore James Kendrick (Springboro, OH / Springboro) scored off an assist from sophomore Spencer Lethbridge (Cleveland, OH / Olmsted Falls) to tie the game at 2.
• First year Stephen Schodowski (Chula Vista, CA / St. Augustine) gave the Saints back the lead with an unassisted goal.
• Following another Tiffin goal, Bryce Collins scored his second of the day to make it 4 to 3.
• Schodowski tallied his second goal of the game off an assist from James Kendrick to make it a 5 to 3 game.
• Tiffin scored a goal to make it a 5 to 4 game.
• Spencer Lethbridge tallied back to back assists on goals by James Kendrick and sophomore Graham Houser (Hilliard, OH / St. Charles) (7-4).
• Tiffin scored back to back goals to make it a 7 to 6 game.
• James Kendrick tallied a goal off an assist from Graham Houser to make it an 8 to 6 game.
• Tiffin ends the half with a goal to make it an 8 to 7 game.
• Graham Houser and Bryce Collins open the 2nd half with goals to extend their lead to 3.
• Spencer Lethbridge added to the lead with a goal off an assist from Graham Houser.
• Tiffin tied it up with 4 straight goals.
• First year Aspen Cameron (Plain City, OH / Jonathon Alder) gives the Saints a lead with 5 minutes to go with a goal.
• Tiffin sends it to OT with a goal in the final four minutes.
• Donahugh Simpson ends the game with an overtime goal 2 minutes into the extra period.

• James Kendrick tallied 3 goals and an assist to go with a caused turnover to lead the Saints.
• Graham Houser had 2 goals and 2 assists in the game.
• Stephen Schodowski recorded 2 goals, 17 ground balls and 20 face off wins in the game.
• Sophomore goalie Trevor Almanza (Cincinnati, OH / Fairfield) recorded 19 saves in the victory.

Men's lacrosse will return next spring for the 2025 season.
