(AMHERST, NY) - The Thomas More men's volleyball team was defeated by Daemen University on Tuesday (March 5). Daemen defeated the Saints in three sets as they now 9-9 overall.
Daemen defeats Thomas More, 3-0
- Daemen won the opening set 25 to 20.
- Daemen won the second set 25 to 21
- Daemen swept the Saints and won the third set 25 to 18.
- Freshman Luke Duncan (Houston, TX/Memorial Senior) led the Saints in kills with 10.
- Sophomore Noah Smith-Trondle (Hartwell, OH/Walnut Hills High School) led in assists with 19.
- Freshman Luke Duncan (Houston, TX/Memorial Senior) and Sophomore Noah Smith-Trondle (Hartwell, OH/Walnut Hills High School) both led the Saints in total blocks with 1.
- Junior Ben Albers (Cincinnati, OH/Elder) led in digs with 5.
The Thomas More men's volleyball team returns to play on Monday (March, 11) against Edward Waters at home. The match is set for 7:00 PM.
