Bryce Collins Scores Five Goals in Loss at Shorter

(ROME, GA) - The Thomas More men's lacrosse team fell to Shorter on the road on Saturday (March, 2nd) morning by a score of 16 to 11. Thomas More drops to an overall record of 0-3 on the season.

  • Shorter opened the game with a quick goal to take the early lead (0-1).
  • Sophomore Spencer Lethbridge (Cleveland, OH / Olmsted Falls) tallied the Saints response with an unassisted goal to tie it up (1-1).
  • First year Bryce Collins (Lewis Center, OH / Olentangy) scored his first goal of the game to give the Saints the lead (2-1).
  • Shorter answered with a goal right before sophomore James Kendrick (Springboro, OH / Springboro) scored off an assist from first year Mario Hill (Chicago, IL / Loyola Academy) (3-2).
  • Shorter retook the lead with seven straight goals (3-9).
  • Bryce Collins and sophomore Nick Boriin (Worthington, OH / Thomas Worthington) tallied back to back goals to close the gap to four (5-9).
