Jolly Records Triple Double in Senior Day Win Over ODU

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY)-Thomas More University's men's basketball team defeated Ohio Dominican on senior day Saturday afternoon (March 2), 82-43. The Saints overall record improves to 17-11 and 12-8 in conference.

First Half
  • Junior Casey George (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North) drove to the rim for a layup to tie the game up at 2-2 with 17:58 on the clock.
  • First year Nathan Dudukovich (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) made a layup and one for the final points of their 12-0 run over the Panthers with 14:10 to play.
  • With 11:43 to play in the half, junior Jacob Jones (Jeffersonville, Ind./Jeffersonville) scored on a fast break to make it a 21-4 game.
  • Graduate student Reid Jolly (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) hit a jump shot with 6:47 in the half to extend the Saints lead to 28-9.
  • Sophomore transfer Mitchell Rylee (Ft. Mitchell/Covington Catholic) made a layup as time expired to give the Saints a 41-19 lead going into the locker room at the half.
  • Casey George led the team with 10 points and six rebounds and had three assists.
  • Mitchell Rylee also tallied 10 points to lead the team and had five rebounds.
  • Reid Jolly led the team with six rebound and five assists and had four points.
  • The Saints were 56.3% (18-32) from the field, 28.6% (4-14) from the 3-point line, and 100% (1-1) from the free throw line in the first half.
Second Half
  • Nathan Dudukovich drained a 3-point basket to kick things off in the second half with 19:32 on the clock (44-19).
  • Mitchell Rylee dunked the ball with 15:44 to play to put the Saints up by 23 (50-27).
  • Casey George knocked in two free throws to make it a 69-32 game with 9:39 to play.
  • With 6:29 to play, Jacob Jones laid the ball in to put the Saints up 76-34.
  • Sophomore Kiernan Geraci (Independence, Ky./Dixie Heights) knocked in one free throw for the Saints final points with 4:06 left in the game.
  • The Saints defeated the Panthers 52--43.
  • Nathan Dudukovich led the Saints in the second half with 14 points.
  • Reid Jolly led the team with six rebounds and six assists and had seven points.
  • Mitchell Rylee recorded seven points, three rebounds, and one assist.
